Visiting an Inmate

1/3

Effective March 30, 2021 and until further notice, all visits will be by appointment only.  Visits must be requested in writing by those currently in custody.  Incarcerated individuals are responsible for coordinating a visiting time with loved ones prior to submitting a request.  Staff members will not schedule visits.  Entrance to the facility will be allowed 10 minutes prior to your visiting start time. FACE COVERINGS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES.

The inmate shall provide the names and dates of birth of family and friends.  These requests are then pre-screened and pre-approved prior to the incarcerated individual being allowed to schedule a visit.  The maximum number of visitors per inmate per visiting period shall be three (3).  Two (2) adults, with one (1) child or one (1) adult with two (2) children may visit an inmate at the same time, provided they register together during the registration process

Maintaining positive community ties is an important component to an inmates eventual return to society, and  to that end, inmates are  encouraged to have  family and  friends visit.
